Touched by God

Have you ever felt ouched by God? Well, i dunno if thats what i really felt but i sure felt strange.
Well, sometimes i feel detached, like half my mind is functioning but the emotional part seems to be absent.
Like this Morning, Saturday, we had Biology class with mr. Njoo. And i was feeling detached. Well, i got through the whole class without speaking much, and after that i was in a hurry to get home. Dunno why lah....just this feeling. Then hor, outside the school gate decided to tell my mother that im coming home. Then she say she at Elias Mall so ask me go there lah. So i walk by the back way, towards the bus stop behind the school. Then on the pavement that borders the school, i was walking...and singing James Blunt "you're beautiful" to myself. Then i look up and whoa there she was walking towards me, presumably going for her CCA. Ok, for those with a romantic bone, you'll understand, for those without, bear with me. Well ,if you know the lyrics to the song i was singing you would find it romantic. Anyway we walked on towards each other and the air around was beautiful. The sun dappled shade, the cool wind. Haiz...so sweet. Then we reached the centre and we both didnt have any excuse to not say hi. so we looked up into each other. i said hi but she just nodded her head. then we walk past. She continued on but i stopped to look at her back. She continused to walk on without even turning back. Well, dont you think that its quite sad yet nice at the same time? funny right?

My Life

well today was an abnormal friday. Cos the teachers postponed the english mock exam. So i was released early. well, after school supposed to meet jasmine after school then go for tuition but so early so i decided to go find some company to while away the time. So went to the school library, and found amelia, amanda and rebecca there. So disturb loh.....chao them until they all thoroughly irritated and accompanied amelia to the Econ for an ice-cream. Keep her company till her robotics start then she went loh. So i went library and convinced amanda to accompany me to white sands cos i lonely. So walk and talk and then meet jia xin also. Surprised that amanda and jia xin know all about linus and friends. I dun wanna hang out with the rough types and smoke and spit on the floor and fight and take drugs so im very careful i stay on their good sides. of course they're all human beings but seeing what humans can do im just gonna tiptoe around. of course hanging out with them is bad form. but also it would definitely be handy if i could get a gang to go and beat someone up for me. Naturally i wouldnt do that seeing my aversion to violence, i only get violent when im really angry yea. Back to the story, so we went to white sands and bumped into jasmine there in the library and cheryl too, taking photos for the class thingy. So amanda found her friends there and they start talking about their SJAB first aid test tomorrow.
Then i hungry and convince amanda to go eat at macdonalds. I ate a double cheese but she didnt eat. then we chat until about almost 5 then i rush up to library to meet jasmine to go for tuition but she left already. So i went to take a bus so i wouldnt be late for tuition. thats about all....really.

My Life

Well, today was pretty much the same as any other day. It rained in the morning so we missed hymn singing, sad, i was looking forward to singing for my LORD.
English lesson is now torture because my english command seems to be depreciating, i keep making grammar errors all over the place. Its so stupid especially when i imagine how Lydia is probably stringing together long complicated sentences.
Well, i seem to be like, depending on Wey Zi more and more cause i keep asking him English questions that i should actually know. I so gotta change and prevent my English from falling apart.
Well, i did write two expository essays proving that alien life exists but i don't think many people believed my essays. I managed to get a start on my storybook "Alien Diaries", on Entry 2 now.
Well, i went home early today after school because we didnt have afternoon programme cause it was chinese and i dont have to retake my chinese o levels.
Instead spent the whole day at home rereading Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. After that, i studied for my bio mini test and then went for bio night class.
It was so cool cause i actually know about the Paramecium, i didnt think i would come across it during secondary school. Can you actually believe that i learnt that in primary 4?
HahaX...lol. Anyway finished watching Lost just only, now taping The OC so that i can watch tomorrow. haha.... ok byeee

My Home
"Step into my lair", said the spider to the fly.
Thats my favourite line. Anyway, i'm gonna tell you all about my life for this blog will be about My World.
I live in a 3 storey terrace house which is actually equal in height to a 4 storey house. The outside has the appearance of a homely mansion and is painted pink. I have a fishpond next to the porch where the Hyundai Trajet is parked. Koi are the main inhabitants of the pond while some other weird fishes inhabit the filter system. The Trajet blocks the view of the front door but the garden can be seen. Lush greenery and many potted plants. Not to mention the to tables of potted cactus and the scarcrow-like lamp. The cupboard outside the door contains our shoes and socks and the like. There is a rug mat on the front step and next to it is a stand for shhoes and slippers that we use everyday. The cabinet is for shoes that have to be stored because they are only used on special occasions. The wooden front door has a gold-colour handle which has double locks.
Inside, the house looks exactly like a showroom, mainly because it WAS fashioned to look like a showroom. The 3 metre high wall of inlaid mirror panes that reflect the house. The living room is 2 storeys high decorated with intricate cornices. There's a large sofa set next to the gargabtuan carpet which guards the front door. There are two more chairs and a cleopatra style couch next to the television. On the right of the TV is a large stereo set, while on the right is a small fish tank. The Tv is placed against the wall, and the wall being 2 storeys high must be decorated else it would look awfully plain. The wall has a coat of texture painted onto it, the texture is rough and golden-brown in colour. the texture stretches up to the ceiling while a painting hangs on the opposite wall. The ceiling has a concentric cornice and dangling from the center is a large chandelier. Ringing the chandelier are eight light bubs sunk into the ceiling.
Alright, back to the ground. Next to the cleopatra style couch is a large wooden box with a rectangular cushion as the top. At first it looks like count Dracula's personla bed but it is actually where we put the newspapers. Near the large carpet on the floor, are 4 dog statues sitting there looking cute. Next to the dog statues is a small stand with cemnet cherubs holding a basin above their head. The basin is a miniature fountain and is sometimes inhabited by tiny fishes or some weird water plant. Next to it, is a large beautiful wooden grain cabinet. On the cabinet top, is a bowl of potpurri on a tripod stand. Beside them are intricate wooden stands which hold stylish aromatherapy candles. The wooden cabinet contains the wine and whatever alcoholic beverage that we need. My parents dont drink beer and so the alcohol is used on rare occasions like adding a few drops to ice-cream or to make fruit cocktail. There is two steps up from the living room to the dining room. On the first step at the end nearest to the wooden cabinet, is a small statue of a chef holing a blackboard with the words printed "Menu of the day". Just below that, are the words scribbled in chalk "Go out."

Ok so basically that is the living room and the front garden. I'll tell you more in my next post about the dining room.
